Now accepting students for Summer 2026.

Teaching Philosophy

Music education cultivates empathy, dedication, and critical thinking—skills that support students well beyond their time in the music room. Because every learner arrives with unique strengths and experiences, I adapt my instruction to honor who they are and how they grow. We dive deep into practice strategies and celebrate improvement over perfection.

My Experience

I work for the Endangered Instruments Program through Seattle Youth Symphony, leading group viola sectionals in multiple schools throughout Seattle.

In 2025, I began teaching West Seattle Community Orchestra’s Beginning Strings II class, where I lead a group of young musicians and prepare them for auditioning for the Debut Orchestra.

I’ve lead numerous sectionals in schools, youth orchestras, and community ensembles, and maintain a private teaching studio in Queen Anne, Seattle.
